Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson and Janick Gers: Interview

Back in 2006, George sat down with Bruce Dickinson and Janick Gers to talk about Iron Maiden’s 14th studio album A Matter of Life and Death. They also talked about the state of music at a time of great change in the business.

“The value of music, the physical value of it, has become devalued,” Dickinson said. “So whilst music is probably more popular now than at any time in human history, you get bombarded with music wherever you go. I try to find place that don’t have music now, where I can just sit in peace and quiet and silence. Because I don’t want 24/7 music.”
